Inferenz today announced its selection to Cohort 2 of the nasscom AI Champions Program, a six-month initiative that helps small and mid-sized enterprises apply artificial intelligence at scale.
Only fifteen companies made the cut after a national screening led by senior industry leaders, hosted by nasscom.
The program blends weekly live labs, faculty-led deep-dives, one-to-one mentoring, and peer circles to build practical AI capability. Participants also gain access to go-to-market guidance, partnership opportunities, and patent-filing support.
“nasscom’s vote of confidence arrives at a perfect time,” said Yash Thakkar, Managing Director, Inferenz. “Our team has field-tested agentic AI in healthcare and retail. This program will refine our methods, expose us to fresh use cases, and help us reach more clients who need dependable automation.”
Last year’s pilot cohort welcomed 12 firms; the second edition raises the intake to 15, underscoring strong demand among Indian SMEs for structured AI adoption.
The curriculum spans:
- Go-To-Market Strategy and Implementation Plan
- Data Strategy, Management and Governance
- Technology Deep-Dive
- Responsible AI and Governance
- Investment Management and Fundraising
- Building world class AI team
Inferenz will use the platform to sharpen its flagship solutions—including patient-caregiver matching, natural language analytics, data deduplication—while adopting the governance frameworks taught in the cohort.
Gayatri Thakkar, Chief Executive Officer, Inferenz, added, “Building AI in a silo is difficult. Learning alongside peers, regulators, and veteran practitioners will shorten the feedback loop and step up the value we deliver to our clients.”
