Inferenz has released its Hospice Eligibility AI Agent, a new addition to the Caregence™ platform built for healthcare providers. The agent automates two workflows at the center of hospice intake: eligibility screening and admission prioritization, cutting manual review time from 30-90 minutes down to five.
It pulls the complete referral packet, applies the provider’s own clinical scoring rules, and returns an Eligible, Pending Review, or Ineligible determination with the reasoning attached. A second workflow then ranks eligible referrals by admission probability, so coordinators know which patient gets the next open bed.
